I Went to UP last night. The UP Broadguild (my brother’s org when he was still in UP - I’m working on their site too) had their “Destino” again. It’s an event where they have several bands playing and a movie showing (they played “A Walk To Remember”) in the sunken garden afterwards.

9 months. That’s how long I have left ’til my final exhibit.
9 months and I’ll be done with drafting plates for my classes. 9 months and I’ll finally be free from going to school early in the morning. 9 months and I will graduate and will receive my certificate in Interior Design. Ahh, in 9 months, I’ll be free.
But yes, that also means that I still have 9 months more of sleepless nights. 9 months more of going to school early. 9 months more of endless drafting of plates. 9 months more of gruelling work.
9 months.
I have yet to grasp the reality that I’m actually gonna be done in 9 months. I’ve already prepared myself for all the tiresome work. Things will definitely be a lot harder now that our final exhibit is approaching. Work has already been divided among the different committees and this afternoon we had a meeting for the Annual Committee (one of the two committees that I’m in– the other would be the Construction Committee) for the yearbook.
The work looked harder than I thought it would be, but I’m sure we’ll cope. I, along with another batchmate, have been assigned “Layout and Graphic Designer/Editor.” I’m sure it’ll be a tough job but I’m pretty much ecstatic to get started on it.
Ahh, I can’t wait for that 9 months to pass. I’l finally be free after that. Well, I do have my Minor Subjects to take in Benilde for a year. Then comes the Board Exams. Then it’ll be actual work as an Interior Designer (when I pass the Board, that is).
Err, I guess it doesn’t really end in 9 months. 8-} haha!
Anyway, we were bored in class earlier, so we went and fiddled with my camera…

I love my family and when I say that, I don’t just mean my immediate family. I love my family as a whole. My aunts, uncles and cousins too. The Viduya clan (maternal side) is pretty big. My mom has 6 brothers and 5 sisters (they’re 12 all in all) and there are already 34 of us grandchildren and one great grandchild. Yes, the family is that big.
It’s just so much fun that way, really. I love getting together with everyone. It’s literally one big party when we’re together. The house is packed with loud people talking, singing, laughing, eating and playing games everytime. It gets exhausting having everyone over, but it’s still fun.
So yeh, even if my little cousins turn my room upside down when they’re over, I still don’t mind too much. I’m happier with just the thought of getting to spend some time with them.
Anyway, one of my aunts and uncles flew back from San Francisco on Sunday, so it was a great excuse for everyone to get together here at home. We’re all fond of taking and posing for pictures, and we did quite a lot of that on Sunday. ^_,~;;

I was supposed to blog the other day. I sat in front of my computer for a couple of hours, trying to squeeze my brains out to write about something interesting. After several cups of coffee, I still found myself staring at a blank blog window. Not a word. Not even a single dot or letter.
It’s funny how I’ve gradually become speechless when it comes to blogging nowadays. I remember how enthusiastic I used to be in my blogs. I wouldn’t let a day pass without posting. There were even days that I had more than one post in a day. I was pretty much caught up with the blogging frenzy, really.
Those were the days. Days when I enjoyed jotting down the details about my daily escapades. How I woke up, went to school, ate lunch, had dinner and went to bed. It was routinary. Almost predictable, really. It was fun then, but you get tired of blabbing about the same things. I guess that’s not too surprising considering that it’s been over 3 years since I started blogging.
So yeh, I guess I have become picky when it comes to the things that I blog about nowadays.
If I don’t post in a while, that just means one thing… I have nothing exciting to talk about. =P hehe…

Everyone here at home’s in bed now. It’s already one in the morning, but I’m still here typing away in front of my computer. It’s funny, really. For a person who always complains of not getting enough sleep, I should really be snuggled under my covers by this time. I don’t have any plates to work on and I could actually take advantage of the free time to rest. But I’m not. I can’t. It’s all because of the simple reason that everytime I lie down, I just end up wide awake, tossing and turning in bed. o_O;;
So yes, here I am, trying to tire my eyes by surfing the net. Noone seems to be online Yahoo Messenger. I’m running out of sites to visit, and friendster is starting to get boring. Whoopeedoo. The internet is slowly becoming boring. Either that, or I’m just starting to get tired of the whole internet routine.
I’m more convinced in thinking that it’s just the latter though.
I guess that’s one of the reasons why I don’t go online as much anymore. For someone who used to drown herself online, literally 24/7, I’ve actually managed to cut down my net-cravings. Perhaps I’ve just become more disciplined with balancing my time. I guess so. With all the things going on in my offline life, sometimes I just can’t be bothered sitting in front of my computer for hours doing the normal “online things.”
I have been catching up on my offline social life too. For months, even years, I was pretty much caught up with the “net world” that I didn’t give much importance to my real social life. It was all school, eat, net and sleep for me. But lately I learned how to balance my time efficiently. I’ve been going out and have been enjoying the company of my friends more. After being wrapped up with the cyber world for quite a while, it’s just great to finally have a real social life again. ^_^;;
So in conclusion, yes, my life is going great. Despite the tiresome work I regulary get in school, everything else is prettly much cotton candy. I’m way beyond happy and contented with the way things are going. Life is colorful and I just can’t ask for anything more. ^_,~;;

It’s already a little over two weeks into the new year, so I guess it’s about time that I start updating here again! ^_,~;; I have been neglecting this domain of mine. Not only was I preoccupied with a number of things offline (namely school and other life matters), I got caught up posting in another journal of mine too.
I guess you can say that the lack of privacy in this domain of mine was one of the main reasons why I opted to remain silent and post elsewhere instead. Frankly, this site is becoming too public. A number of my offline friends and relatives know about this and somehow it was becoming difficult to speak freely in here. But, I did miss posting here. And I did miss interacting with the people who used to listen to me whine and rant. So yes, I am back. I will be posting in here once again.
I also got my not-so-creative juices flowing again and finally made a new layout. Haha! I was getting tired of staring at my previous layout… which I had for over 5 months! o_O;; LOL! Fine, I didn’t change any of the contents in here. The layout is actually even similar to the first version of this domain, but I was just itching to make this, so yeh. It’s simple, but at least the layout is finally different! =P hehe!
The comments section for each post is up now too, so to those who are lazy to sign guestbooks, well, you have a new option to leave your thoughts and comments now. ;)
Before I go, I’d just like to thank those wonderul people who still kept dropping by and leaving me notes in my guestbook, even if I was pretty much “away” for a couple of months. *mwah* I miss you guys! ^^;;
