I was a little bummed out about Fluffy’s death Friday morning, so JR and I decided to go out to cheer me up a bit. We watched Happy Feet in Glorietta. It was an okay movie (not the best story though), but ironically, it reminded me of Fluffy even more.
Afterwards, we drove to Bonifacio High Street, because I was craving for Krispy Kreme.

The line wasn’t as long and crazy as I expected (it was only the 2nd day since they opened!), and we were inside the store only after 15 minutes of lining up. I had been craving for the doughnuts since I first heard that Krispy Kreme was opening in the Philippines, but seeing the doughnuts coming out fresh from the oven made me salivate even more!

And getting free original glazed doughnuts to taste, made waiting in line (for not so long, really) worth it! I loved how it burst with softness in my mouth. I even got to take a shot of my free doughnut, before I stuffed the rest of it in my mouth.

After we ordered our boxes (we bought 3 dozens!), we sat down and had another doughnut each. They were pretty sweet, but were definitely perfect with the cappuccino we ordered with it.

We were stuffed, but happily posed for an obligatory couple shot.

Afterwards, we walked to Fez to meet up with my brother and Kenn (he’s part owner of Fez). JR and I were too full for a real meal, but we shared an order of Moroccan Vegetable Soup, which was delish! The rest of night was spent talking over drinks (well, I only had one drink… my brother did most of the drinking!). We hardly get to see my brother and Kenn, so it was great to be able to spend the time with them.
Do come visit Fez. The food’s great! And I just love how small and cozy the restobar is. :)

Thank God it was Friday! It definitely saved me from staying home sulking about Fluffy being gone.
