Valentines, Reunions and Saturday Dates

Posted on: 18th of February 2007 | Under: Life & Love

I just realized that I’ve only been blogging on a once a week (well, more like on a once in two weeks) basis. At the moment, my life has been pretty much routinary. That’s why I only blog when something comes up… or when I snap out of my “I’m too lazy to blog” phases.

I’m here blogging, which means that I do have something to share. The highlights of my week, that is.

Pre-valentines day date with JR.

His one-week trip to Singapore made us miss each other too much, that we opted to start our Valentines a day early. It was just a simple date around Glorietta, where we always are. We had dinner at Mexicali, followed by dessert at our favorite Starbucks (Glorietta 3 - the one inside Make Room).

Long conversations are something that I enjoy a lot when being with him. That, and our endless camwhoring! =P

Reunion day with girlfriends!

Chinky had been in the country for about 2 weeks, but it was only on her last night when she finally had the time to meet up with us. She’s been back quite often lately, but we still make sure to see her everytime she’s here.

We (my sister, Kriselda and I) took her out for some drinks at Beluga, BF. Well, they drank. I was the driver for the night, so I was stuck drinking soda. haha! It was a really long night (really long, because we were there from 10pm ’til 3am!!!) of talking — lots and lots of it.

I love hanging out with these ladies! We grew up together and we know enough to be able to blackmail each other. HAHA! We’re a bunch of friends who still enjoy each others company, no matter how long we don’t talk to each other.

Post-Valentines Date with JR.

Like I’ve mentioned before, Saturdays are always spent with him. We started it with a late lunch at Cascada, Greenbelt 3. We had a sumptuous meal of Cheese Steak, Baby Back Ribs and Grilled Beef Tenderloin Steak. The food was great and we were stuffed to the brim, but we had to rush through our meal, because we had to catch the 2:40pm showing of Music and Lyrics. It was absolutely beautiful!!! Funny, witty and full of love! I’ve always adored Drew, and this movie will probably be one of my favorite ones she’s done. It was so good, that JR and I actually stayed until the end of the credits.

After the movie, we had dessert at Max Brenner. We had a choco-overload with the warm chocolate fondue! Eating so much made me dizzy, but we still went around Glorietta and window shopped anyway. Not so long after, we were eating again. This time, for a dinner of sandwiches at Subway. Talk about over-eating!!! =P

It was another perfect end to a wonderful week! =)
