I didn't enjoy the extreme angst in the first part of the book, but it became quite interesting towards the middle (or when she started painting, at least). And, Zadie Smith's On Beauty is currently on my book wishlist. =) @Toni: I'd love to be able to own every book in the world too! hehe! And then maybe have all the time in the world to read them. haha! Thanks, dear! We're happy too. =) @Dan: Not blogging anymore? Too bad! Hope to bump into in Singapore sometime. hehe! And guess where I recently came from? =P I just finished "Anansi Boys" by Neil Gaiman, a book that I had been planning to read for YEARS. I am going to start "We Need to Talk About Kevin" soon, but not before tackling two classics, "Return of the Native" (because my mom told me it's good) and the 1818 text of one of my favourites, "Frankenstein". By the way, are you into used books? There's an awesome used book store in the Selegie area in a little mall called Parklane. =) I got my classics there for 4 bucks each.
