Oh yes, I do. Here are a few of them:
- Not having my favorite magazine (Cosmopolitan) available in Singapore. I must find a local alternative.
- Sweating when I’m all dressed up.
- People calling me Ann/Anne. Only my family and a few other close relatives/friends are allowed to call me that. My name is Anna, thank you very much. =P
- Crazy truck drivers in Manila. The drivers should really consider having driving training (like CDL training, maybe) before they are allowed to drive those big vehicles. I saw two separate accidents caused by trucks while I was there last week.
- Driving during a heavy downpour in Manila. Not only because it makes seeing the road close to impossible, but also because it’s even harder to see the annoying pot holes that’s practically everywhere.
- Having a rather slow metabolism. I envy those who can eat all they want, and never have to worry about putting on weight. Unfair!
- Barristas who don’t know their coffee. I encountered one at the McCafe near our flat, who didn’t understand what I meant when I asked for a Caramel Latte! I had to explain to her that it was just a regular latte with extra caramel syrup!
- KFC here in Singapore. Not as good as KFC back in Manila. They don’t even have free flowing gravy!
- Cebu Pacific. They gave us a headache on the night of our flight back to Manila last week. I’ll probably save the rant for another post (if I get around to it), but they were such a hassle! It’ll be the last time we’re going to fly with them! We’re also composing a formal complaint, which we will email them within the week.
Anna. 25.

Checkout FEMALE magazine (SG$6). I’d trade Preview and Mega for Female :)

#8 - Seriously?! I started my rather unhealthy love affair with the KFC here in Singapore because of the coleslaw! That coleslaw is a sneaky, sneaky thing.. I used to hate the taste, then I grew to like, and now love it. Argh! Haha!
But there are times when I miss KFC Indo because the Indo branches served chicken soup.
And #6 - Touche! Don’t get me started on that. =P

id: Yeah we had KFC almost every other day back in my old office in Manila. I guess I expected too much from the KFC here. The chicken isn’t all that bad, but the gravy is different, and they don’t even have them available for side orders in most branches! I love my KFC gravy. =P I don’t usually eat coleslaw either, but KFC changed that. The ones here taste like the ones in Manila too, so I guess that’s an extra point for Singapore KFC. XP …I can go on and on about my slow metabolism too, but I think I’ll just spare my readers from that. Haha!

ate janz: Oh believe me, I’ve always been the chubby girl… I just know my angle! HAHA! I’ve gained quite a bit since I moved to Singapore! And I know it doesn’t help that I haven’t been doing much exercise (or much physical activity, really) lately. =P

I HATE CEBU PACIFIC TOO!!! My gosh. They never change. We flew with them going to Vietnam and we were delayed for 3 hours! Then, going home we were delayed again. Of all the times I flew with Cebu Pacific… 100% they were always delayed. I want to write a formal complaint too!

Guia: I know, right?!?! Last year, JR flew Cebu Pacific to Manila (from Singapore din) and all the passengers had to wait for 4 hours in NAIA when they arrived, because their baggage was loaded onto the plane that flew all the way to Cebu!!! o_O;;
