Homemade Desserts are Love
Posted on: 11th of March 2009 | Under: Palate Pleaser

Cooking and baking is something that I really love to do (almost at the top of my list, like art, fashion and pretty jewelry). I like spending hours in the kitchen, mixing ingredients to come up with yummy dishes. Although, for the past several months, my time in the kitchen has dwindled down greatly. My work drained my energy everyday, that I would always be too exhausted to cook whenever I’m home.

I finally resigned from work (it’s been almost two weeks), so I’ve been happily cooking meals for the past few days. We don’t have an oven in our flat, so baking my cakes, biscuits and other desserts has been something that I can only think about. I miss baking. But being oven-less hasn’t stopped me from whipping up toothsome desserts.

I made yummy chocolate-dipped strawberries twice last week:

One can never go wrong with fruits and chocolate. =)

I’m also planning to make several other no-bake desserts next week. Will share them on here as soon as I make them. XD

YAY! you’re blogging again:) boo talaga for your work! haha glad your resigned already.

    How’s KL?

Anyway, I have so much books waiting to be read as well. Some I haven’t finished. :( School won’t permit me. I actually plan to reread HP when I graduate. I have so much book plans! haha Like you, I go crazy with Amazon! If I only had the money also:P haha

You should try this application called Visual bookshelf in FB. Iits an online bookshelf where you get to share your wishlists, books you’ve read, share reviews with countless readers too! and they recommend books based on those you’ve selected.

And I love to bake too!:D I wish i had the chance to focus on it though. When I graduate na talaga! Its aliw how we have a lot in common, ate anna.

I’m glad to see you blogging again.:) *hugs*

Toni: Onga, I totally missed this! =) hehe! KL was great! Especially because I was with my mom and sis. Will make a post about it soon. =) And yay for books! When I was younger, my mom would always tell me off for reading in the dark or in the car. I read everywhere! Kaya tuloy ang taas ng grade ng eyes ko! LOL! I don’t have Visual bookshelf on Facebook, but I have Shelfari on FB. I use Shelfari rin kasi. =) And wow, we do have a lot in common! I really miss baking. I hope you have the time rin. when do you graduate? =)
