Good day. First I need to say that I genuinely like your weblog, just discovered it last week but I’ve been reading it constantly since then.

I seem to come to an agreement with most of your respective thoughts and opinions and this submit is no exception. absolutely agree with you.

Maria: I love living close to the beach too! Which why I’m glad I found a nice getaway close to Singapore. Bintan is so the opposite of the fast-paced lifestyle in Singapore. I love how relaxing the whole place is. And yeah, the room we got was very tropical. But I heard that a lot of the resort rooms have already been renovated to a more contemporary-resort feel. The room we got was the older room styles which have yet to be upgraded. I still liked it anyway. :) Oh and yes, the roof trusses were beautiful! I knew you’d notice that! :) Hehe!

This is what I love about living in a tropical country: how beaches and resorts like these are in abundance. However, being in Jakarta, I have to travel about an hour to the docks, take a ferry for about 1-2 hours before I get to a good resort in the Thousand Islands.

The views and the hotel room totally screams “Indonesia!” to me, even though Bintan tends to be closer to Singapore than it is to the rest of the other Indonesian tourist destinations. =) While I was reading your post, they brought a slight smile to my face. (Good thing I am in my room, otherwise I would look like a freak.)

Looking forward to the Day 2 updates. =D

PS. The roof trusses of the entranceway is just mind-blowing!
