After several gruelling hours of my eyes and fingers being glued to my MacBook, I’m so happy to say that this layout’s finally done. I’m all drained and poofed out!
The production stage took a little longer than I had planned. My vectoring and photoshop skills are a little rusty from months of not practicing. On top of that, I seemed to have lost the ability to write (and even remember!) codes as fast as I used to. I had to resort to numerous trial-and-errors in order to get everything fixed. Everything seems to be looking fine now, but I shall double check again tomorrow if there are anymore bugs.
Anyway, I obviously went crazy over the colors. I don’t even remember having any of my past layouts being this colorful before. Frankly speaking, it’s quite a bold change from my usual “safe” colors. But change is good. I like this change. I’m also hoping that the bright colors will motivate me to blog more frequently now. Hahaha!
It’s already 3am, so I’ll just end this post with the quote that inspired this layout:
Dance like no one’s watching.
Sing like no one’s listening.
Love like you’ve never been hurt,
and live like it’s heaven on earth.

Gouache in moleskine sketch.

I missed making perspectives and rendered drawings, so yesterday, I sat myself down and worked in my moleskine sketch.

I finally got my hands on my 3rd and 4th moleskines. Benedict delivered them to JR’s office early on in the week, but JR and I only saw each other again yesterday, so you could probably imagine how excited I was to see them.
I ripped the packaging as soon as I sat myself down at Starbucks!

The luxury of working fast and finishing things right away at the office is being able to take vanity breaks. Haha! I can’t stand being idle, so I always end up bugging everyone to give me extra work. Today I ended up fixing the network connections of the computers: something that I actually knew very little about! But at the end, I did get to make the connections work. :)
On other days, when there really isn’t anything else for me to do, I do one of the things I know best - I camwhore! =p Haha! Anything to save me from boredom, really. The photo above is just me testing out the camera’s setting.
And because this is turning into a sensless blog, I shall go and snuggle under my covers. =)
