I’ve been anticipating September for the past couple of months. Only because it’s the start of the season for my favorite TV shows. Hello Gossip Girl, Grey’s Anatomy, Heroes, Prison Break and Ugly Betty! I missed my torrents. =P I wish Lost started this month too, but sadly I’ll have to wait until next year for that. Bummer!
My downloads are already complete for this week, but because we’ve been busy, I have yet to watch them. I went out to look for DVI cables the other day, so I can hook my MacBook to a bigger screen, but all I could find were HDMI cables. I guess I just have to be a little more patient and wait until we fly back to Singapore, so I can watch them on JR’s big monitor.

I am currently using the boyfriend’s wordpress application on his iPod touch to compose this. For some reason, wordpress won’t allow me to login into my account on the web. It just keeps getting redirected to my login page every time I try. Has anyone else experienced this?
**EDIT**
Finally got the problem fixed! The boyfriend had to delete the “automatic update” plugin to get everything back to normal.

I’ve had quite a lot of free time lately. Free time to rest. Free time to wander around the city. Free time to make some art. And free time to be able to sit down and read.
In a span of two and a half weeks, I’ve managed to read two books, and even started on a third:

For One More Day by Mitch Albom: Read.
Spot of Bother by Mark Haddon: Read.
Diary by Chuck Palahniuk: Currently reading.
I’m planning to buy Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert once I’m done with my third book. =)
What book are you reading?

The cold weather in Manila these past few days has been perfect for snuggling in bed with a good book. If only I had any to read. I’ve been meaning to go shopping for books, but every time I’m at the bookstore, I seem to be left stuck with choosing a good one (or two) to buy.
Anyone want to recommend a good read? :)

I am no professional when it comes to graphic design, but I can say that it pretty much is a hobby that I enjoy very much. If you’ve known me online for a couple of years, you probably know what I mean. I was one of those people who used to change blog layouts every so often. I enjoyed learning new styles in Photoshop. And I even did the deisgn and layout of my batch’s yearbook in PSID all by myself!
Last Saturday, JR and I attended the first ever Graphika Manila, which was held in Mall of Asia. It was an entire day conference where noted designers (both local and international) came to share about their talents and love for graphic art.

The yearly Manila International Book Fair is something that no bookworm would dare to miss. I had been talking quite a lot about it, even a few weeks prior to the actual event, but I figured I’d let it pass this year since I was flat broke. My bank account has just seen too much shopping in the last few months.
But lucky enough, the ever wonderful boyfriend took pity on me and treated me to a book shopping spree. I know, I am forever spoilt by that boy! :)
A semi-detailed info about my four picks:

The wonderful thing about not working is being able to loaf around and do anything as I please.
Since we got back from Singapore, I’ve been doing a lot of lazing. Sleeping in has no longer been a luxury. I love not having to drag myself early out of bed for a busy day at the office.
Most of my days have been spent sleeping in and going online as soon as I wake up.

But being on the computer almost the entire day doesn’t really mean that I’ve just been aimlessly surfing around. Well yes, I have been spending a considerable amount of time downloading stuff, watching funny videos on youtube, and bouncing from one site to another. But really, most of the time I look around for jobs, or fiddle around with AutoCAD. I do get bored (like mad!) and I am hoping to find the right job for me SOON.
Warning: Quite a lot of photos under the cut.

Oh yes! Today my mom finally got me a MacBook! :) It’s sort of a late birthday slash early graduation (I graduate this Saturday!) gift from everyone. No more fighting with my sister for the family pc. No more pleading with my brother to get my hands on his Ibook. No more invading my mother’s laptop late at night. :) Haha! I’m in love! <3
Thank you BPI madness for your wonderful promo! Thank you Rockwell’s Apple Center for calling as soon as your stocks arrived. Wheee! XD
I shall now go back to enjoying my new toy. ^_^
