The wonderful thing about not working is being able to loaf around and do anything as I please.
Since we got back from Singapore, I’ve been doing a lot of lazing. Sleeping in has no longer been a luxury. I love not having to drag myself early out of bed for a busy day at the office.
Most of my days have been spent sleeping in and going online as soon as I wake up.

But being on the computer almost the entire day doesn’t really mean that I’ve just been aimlessly surfing around. Well yes, I have been spending a considerable amount of time downloading stuff, watching funny videos on youtube, and bouncing from one site to another. But really, most of the time I look around for jobs, or fiddle around with AutoCAD. I do get bored (like mad!) and I am hoping to find the right job for me SOON.
Warning: Quite a lot of photos under the cut.

Oh yes! Today my mom finally got me a MacBook! :) It’s sort of a late birthday slash early graduation (I graduate this Saturday!) gift from everyone. No more fighting with my sister for the family pc. No more pleading with my brother to get my hands on his Ibook. No more invading my mother’s laptop late at night. :) Haha! I’m in love! <3
Thank you BPI madness for your wonderful promo! Thank you Rockwell’s Apple Center for calling as soon as your stocks arrived. Wheee! XD
I shall now go back to enjoying my new toy. ^_^

You know that you’re no longer addicted to the internet when:
- you can let a day pass without touching the computer.
- you don’t get excited about going home to sit in front of the computer anymore.
- you can no longer take staying up ’til the whee hours of the morning just surfing random websites.
- you no longer know every single detail about what’s happening in everyone’s lives.
- you don’t glue yourself in front of the monitor checking your email every 10 minutes.
- you don’t logon friendster everyday anymore.
- you no longer come up with new blog layouts every week.
- you have over one month intervals between blog posts.
- you’re not aware that your online friends already have new blog urls or domains.
- you find that everytime you logon LJ, you have over 5 pages worth of friends’ back posts to read.
- you’d rather sleep or watch TV than go online.
- you no longer blog hop for hours.
- you no longer memorize all the Y!M emoticons shortcuts.
- you start feeling that reading online journals is a chore.
- you already have time to finish 3 different books in a week.
- you find your social life in full swing.
Ahhh, come to think of it, I think I’m no longer addicted to the internet. Well, not so addicted as I used to be, that is. :)
I love life. Oh yes I do! ^_,~;;

People usually associate a personal trait to a certain event or experience in their past. We claim that what we are at present is the outcome of something that happened to us before. For instance, some people may claim that their enthusiasm for traveling may have been brought about by watching different shows on TV, introducing beautiful places all over the world. Some may claim that their love for writing may have been triggered after reading numerous inspirational books. Some may claim that their strong and independent personality may have been due to the number of times they’ve stood up after failing in the past.
This afternoon, I thought about my being a bookworm.I recalled the times that I would snuggle under my covers with a book in hand. I remembered spending Saturdays in the garden, reading the time away. I reminisced those afternoons in gradeschool when I would opt to burry my head between books, instead of going out to play. I was a bookworm then and I just realized that up to the present, I’m still just that.
Deep in thought, I pondered over the reason as to why I have a somewhat bizarre hype when it comes to reading books. I found myself looking back to my elementary days in ISB. Then, it dawned on me - it all started during our obligatory visits to the school library. Visiting the library for us was compulsory. In fact, it was an entire subject altogether. We were made to go there for an hour and a half every week, and I believe it was there where I grasped my love for books.
ISB had an amazing library which had a wide variety of books. I vaguely remember anticipating my library visits. I adored seeing the thousands of books on the shelves and I always had trouble picking out which book to take home. I wanted to read every single book. No, actually I wanted to own every single book! haha! I was just awestruck with the abundance of books. My previous schools before ISB lacked in the library department. They weren’t rich enough in books. In one of the schools, we weren’t even allowed to go in the library! 8-} So yes, I have to thank ISB for opening my eyes to the world of books. I have to thank ISB for making me into the bookworm that I am now.
(I’ll end this now. I’m begining to sound like I’m advertising ISB already! hehehe!)

Testing, testing!
So I finally got myself to fiddle around photoshop, and lookie, I have a new layout! :) I just re-installed Greymatter too, so that should motivate me to actually post in here. Hopefully, that is. I’ve neglected this domain of mine way too long. It’s about time that I actually make some effort in keeping myself active in here!
There’s no new content. Just the same old domain infos, which I’m just too lazy to change at the moment. I have yet to fix the archives either. Will do that as soon as I get some sleep. ^^;;
