Hello, World! I’m officially ready for you now!

Yesterday officially marked the end of college life for me. I had been anxiously anticipating it since classes ended back in April, and walking up on stage to receive my diploma (well, temporary diploma) truly left me overwhelmed. Plus, graduating with honors and having my medal pinned on my toga just made everything more wonderful. :)
It took a while for me to get to where I am now, and the ride was surely not all smooth-sailing. I did 3 semesters at an all-girls college before realizing that I was at a wrong school. A total waste of time, a few people have said, but I seriously beg to differ. I believe my experience in that school prepared me to what I was really meant for. It made me realize what I really wanted for myself and gave me the strength to just go for it. Transferring to my beloved PSID for my majors was the best thing ever and I actually enjoyed the 2 years worth of hard work. Going to CSB after for my minor subjects was another great and fulfilling experience, because it helped me test my abilities to the fullest.
A little over 5 years in College, and I must say that it was one helluva ride. I guess it’s finally time for me to face the real world and to embrace everything that it has to offer me. ^_^
* Crappy camphone shot, because our Canon Ixus 750 died on us after mom and I accidentally dropped it after the graduation! :( How unlucky, I tell you! It’s not even a month old. o_O;; We bought it because our old Canon Power Shot S50 died on us about 2 months ago, and we never got around to getting it fixed. They’re both off to the Service Center tomorrow morning.
They more about the author can come up with ideas, themes, and topics that you would never think about.
A Blab of Updates

So it seems that I’ve been neglecting this again. Who can be blamed for the lack of activity in here? I’ve just been way too preoccupied with the offline life.
A lot has happened in a span of one month.
Our exhibit that started in the first week of the month has been a success. The yearbook which I designed has been labeled “THE BEST in the history of PSID.” :) Some heart-aching words were said and painful memories were made too. Gladly, those were resolved and things are somewhat back to normal again. ^^;; Gimicks, dancing, get-togethers and heart to heart talks with friends make up for all the exhausting work.
My life was simply in full swing.
Since things are starting to slow down now, I’m probably going to update more often. Granted that I don’t get a writer’s block… something that I’ve been getting quite a lot these past few… err.. weeks!
I also made some changes in my domain. I turned the index page into an online resume/portfolio and I moved my blog to daily.optimystique.net. =)
I promised some pictures, so I’ll leave the links before I go. =)

Construction of our exhibit is almost done. That means I’ll be less busy, and hopefully have more time to update this site! =P It’s seriously crying out for some attention!
An update, plus some pictures, will be posted regarding our exhibit soon. ^^;;

Out of town trips are something that I enjoy quite a lot. Being able to get away from, not just the school work, but also from the hustle and bustle of city life, is such a treat. Emptying your mind from all the worries and just having fun is something everyone must do once and a while.
Heading off to a beach in Zambales with my batch was great last Saturday. The beach itself wasn’t exactly like that of Boracay’s, but being in the company of some wonderful people made everything fun. Talking, laughing and getting to know our batchmates a little bit more was perfect. Somehow, the whole trip bonded the batch a little tighter.
What better way to describe the entire trip, than through pictures, right? So, here you go…

Oh, and inlight to the recent exhibit, which some of my batchmates and I had in Glorietta, we were featured in several local newspapers. It’s just funny seeing your name and face plastered on the paper! haha! XP
Here are 2 shots of those…
A shot of our platform, “Kulay,” with our names below it. From the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
My group members and I. Taken from the Manila Bulletin.
And because I’m feeling extra vain right now, here’s a shot of Steph, me and Jewelle, taken around 2 weeks ago….
