Shopping Galore in KL
Posted on: 21st of March 2009 | Under: Fashion & Beauty

I did say that I did a lot of shopping in KL, right? Let me share with you what I took back to Singapore with me. =)

My uncle from the US gave me a new phone: a Blackberry Curve! He was in Manila early this year, and I was glad to finally get my hands on it. =P

I forgot to bring my Polaroid camera when we went home for Christmas, so I asked my sister to bring it to KL for me. I missed it! It still has a couple of shots left in it. Will hunt down for cheap films soon (must stock up before they’re completely gone!).

I went shoe-crazy! Wheee! <3 And to think that I even shopped at the Charles and Keith warehouse sale just a day before I went to KL! LOL! I bought two flats at Vincci (VNC in Manila), and another one at Nose. They were unbelievably cheap! Very comfy too. Especially the black one. I used it while running around KL.

Christmas Shopping

What better way to spend Sunday than to head out to town and join other shoppers in the joy of gift-buying. I was able to find a couple of gifts for some friends, but of course, after spending a very eventful week at work (designing and making detailed drawings — thank goodness I don’t have to design more complicated structures like steel buildings), I just had to treat myself as well. =P

I got myself another pair of black flats (at a great price!) from Aldo:

The other one I bought from Schu last week is a little too big for me, so I’m giving it to my sister instead. =D

I also bought the purple Aldo wallet that I had been eyeing for weeks:

That’s to replace my old Anne Klein II wallet that had to retire mid this year. =P

I still have a few more shopping to do before we fly back to Manila on Monday. My mom has already given me a list of other things she wants from here. See, I’m not the only shopaholic in the family; it runs in the blood. XD

Beauty Haul

Work has kept me really busy that on my days off, which are unfortunately only Sundays, I usually take advantage and sleep in the whole day. For the past three Sundays, the bed has been my lovely companion.

I realized that I haven’t been out to really enjoy my only work-free day of the week, so today I finally headed out to treat myself. :-)

I came home with these goodies:

  1. Clarins Ultra Matte Balancing Lotion. I got this for free through their 7-day trial. I have combination to oily skin (must really try out more healthy grilling options), and this product promises a long-lasting oil-free face. Will see how it goes.
  2. L’oréal Elsève Smooth Intense Anti-Frizz Conditioner, because the bottle in my bathroom is almost empty.
  3. Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear nail polish in Black Out, which I’m wearing right now! :)
  4. The Face Shop’s Fragrant Nail Enamel Remover in Pink. I love the smell of this!
  5. The Face Shop Nail Polish in RD303.
  6. MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack. I got tired of having to sharpen my MAC Powerpoint all the time. =P
  7. MAC #266 Small Angle Brush, for the gel eyeliner.
  8. MAC Lipstick in Hug Me (Lustre).

I also got myself new black flats from Schu:

These were at 50% off! I love shopping during Sales! =)

I’m also anticipating the two-week trip back home to Manila for Christmas, because it means more time to relax and to go shopping! =)

The life of a jobless Interior Designer =P

The wonderful thing about not working is being able to loaf around and do anything as I please.

Since we got back from Singapore, I’ve been doing a lot of lazing. Sleeping in has no longer been a luxury. I love not having to drag myself early out of bed for a busy day at the office.

Most of my days have been spent sleeping in and going online as soon as I wake up.

But being on the computer almost the entire day doesn’t really mean that I’ve just been aimlessly surfing around. Well yes, I have been spending a considerable amount of time downloading stuff, watching funny videos on youtube, and bouncing from one site to another. But really, most of the time I look around for jobs, or fiddle around with AutoCAD. I do get bored (like mad!) and I am hoping to find the right job for me SOON.

Warning: Quite a lot of photos under the cut.
