I get quite frustrated when I see couples looking oh-so-happy together. Jealousy or envy, perhaps? Probably. They just make me more bitter that the boyfriend and I are miles apart from each other. I don’t like the distance. I really don’t. I think I’ve even cried more in the last couple of months than I ever have my entire life.
I actually dreaded Valentine’s Day this year. Afraid that I’d end up moping and feeling sad that we can’t be together. But, things turned out pretty well. We spent the first hour of the day talking online, like we do most nights. Then, in the middle of a busy day at work, I was surprised with an express delivery of a dozen red roses. <3

I gotta say that they’re the most beautiful roses that I’ve ever seen. And I’m not saying that because it came from JR, but really, they’re perfect! I have them sitting on the table next to my bed, and even if it’s been almost a week, they still look fresh. :)
After work, I hurried home and we spent the night keeping each other company online, the way we would’ve spent the time if we were physically together on a date - fooling around. =P

So, in the end, spending Valentine’s Day apart wasn’t as bad as I was expecting it to be. Sometimes I really should be more optimistic than I claim to be. =P
Thank you for the wonderful day, my bebe! Even if the situation has been hard for both of us, you really make a way to make me happy. I LOVE YOU! :-*

I just realized that I’ve only been blogging on a once a week (well, more like on a once in two weeks) basis. At the moment, my life has been pretty much routinary. That’s why I only blog when something comes up… or when I snap out of my “I’m too lazy to blog” phases.
I’m here blogging, which means that I do have something to share. The highlights of my week, that is.
February 13, 2007:
Pre-valentines day date with JR.
His one-week trip to Singapore made us miss each other too much, that we opted to start our Valentines a day early. It was just a simple date around Glorietta, where we always are. We had dinner at Mexicali, followed by dessert at our favorite Starbucks (Glorietta 3 - the one inside Make Room).
Long conversations are something that I enjoy a lot when being with him. That, and our endless camwhoring! =P

I had a wonderful weekend.
It started off with the CCP and ABS CBN tour of my batch on Friday. It was fun, not only because our class was canceled for the day, but because we were able to mingle and spend time with our batch mates. We were pretty exhausted towards the latter part of the tour, but the whole experience was still well worth it.
A couple of pictures are posted here.
Saturday was great too. JR and I spent our first Valentine’s afternoon together here at my home. We watched Kill Bill while we indulged ourselves to some pizza and iced tea. Nothing beats cuddling with the person you love while watching a movie. <3
We then had dinner and spent the evening with my relatives at a close family friends’ house. It was truly nice having him there with my relatives. Literally, he has already become part of the family. Sweet! :)
He slept in our living room couch for the night, but he didn’t get much sleep with people barging in and out of the room and mosquitoes feasting on him. *mow* =( My poor bebe. But yeh, it was still great having him over. ^_,~;;
Of course, what’s a family gathering without any pictures, yeh? CLICK HERE.
